Payment Poster Specialist
Meridian Medical Management is a leading provider of outsourced revenue cycle, EMR and IT support services to multispecialty and academic practice plans, with over 1,500 physicians served. We are currently looking for a Payment Posting Specialist will be responsible for posting health insurance explanation of benefits, working closely with third party vendor and clients, and balancing monthly cash reconciliation tools.
Posts manual and ERA payments and adjustments while ensuring all deposits are balanced on a daily basis.
Resolve any unpostable deposits and processes refunds.
Work closely with third party vendor and clients via written emails and conference calls.
Prepare Month-end reports as necessary.
Sorts mail and processes requests for information; refers claim resolution issues to appropriate departments.
Perform Quality Assurance to meet and maintain performance standards.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Maintain acceptable work volume per day.
Responsible to sort, follow up and track work flow.
Organize and prioritize work items
Show willingness to work toward departmental and organization wide objectives to insure quality results.
Requires ability to process confidential data in professional manner
Experience and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Requires familiarity of health insurance Explanation of Benefits /EOB, proficient using medical billing systems.
General computer experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook, excellent excel skills.
Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations.
Ability to navigate through various computer programs.
Ability to approach problems/decisions analytically.

•Network with target market executives of healthcare and practice institutions
•Networking with consulting firms and non-competitor companies to identify and develop leads and market/industry insight.

•Work with internal professionals to manage the sales process
•Show competency in developing a lead, moving the lead along the sales process, and identify and execute on a path to closing the prospect. A team of professionals will be involved in all deals to support the sales processes as a whole.
• Coordination of RFP responses and proposal development.
•Writing, editing and development of presentations and proposals as well as project management of RFP proposal response generation.
•Update and maintain prospect, competitor & client records in SalesForce

•Attend national sales show, including the MGMA, HFMA, HIMSS, etc.

•Bachelor’s Degree – Master’s preferred.
•Demonstrated lead development and closing experience.
•Experience in dealing with healthcare executive and physician decision makers.
•Territory will include the eastern half of the US, with focus on primary targets in the Northeast and secondary targets in the southeast and Midwest. Position is preferred to be based in the Northeast.
